お教え戴き、ありがとうございます。

先ほど、アドバイスを戴いた通り、
次以降の列車の時刻を調べてメモしました。
乗り遅れて、次の列車の時間を調べなくていい点
少しは落ち着いて次の列車の時間まで過ごせそうです。

さて、国鉄サイトでは座席指定はおっしゃるとおり無く、
購入するチケット（予約する列車）の注意として下記が表示されます。

You can travel to Belgium with any IC train provided that you travel on the same day and under the terms of tariff- and (applicable) discount conditions. With Thalys, Eurostar and TGV you are bound to the selected departure time.
Please note: there is only a short time for changing trains.
You have booked a ticket via Roosendaal(fr). It is not possible to choose a different route with this ticket.

Travel Conditions
In case you are using your Voordeelurenkaart, you have to travel the Dutch route during the 'Voordeeluren'.
Special information
Ticket valid for any conventional train on the requested route during the whole validity period of the ticket (for homeprinted tickets, the validity period is limited to the requested travel date). Not valid on high speed trains.
Refund Conditions
Unused tickets can be refunded until 1 month after first day of validity by paying EUR 5,00 administration fee for each ticket. NOTE: the refund delay for Homeprint tickets is 2 days.

この場合、乗り遅れた場合、タリスなどの高速列車などを除き
ＩＣなどには乗車可能ということでよろしいでしょうか。

特別な手続きは必要なく、同日であれば可ということかと
当方、認識したのですがよろしいのでしょうか･･･
